Type description

Chains of ascospores with terminal units half-ovoid to quadrangular (central spores). Wall dark-brown, smooth. Germ silt sigmoidal. In sediments usually are observed the isolated one-celled units. Ca. 10–15 μm in length, but could be bigger.
