Type description

Gelorini et al 2011: Spores globose to subglobose, equilaterally one-celled, yellow, 15– 20 μm in diameter, thick-walled, with the subhyaline sheath/coat developed into fairly high, coarse ridges which may or may not anastomose, and with small spines present on the tops of the ridges.
