Type description

Gelorini et al 2011: Ascospores ellipsoid to fusiform, subequilaterally one-celled, pale brown, 20×7 μm, smooth and slightly thick-walled, tapering at both ends; with the paler and thinner girdle running transversally over the entire width of the spore.
