Type description

Fungal spores, ellipsoid, unequally and asymmetrically 4-celled, 37.5–47.5 (–55) × 25–32.5 μm, thick-walled, slightly constricted at the septa, basal cell sub-hyaline and truncated. This type is similar to UG-1091 (Bactrodesmium type) (Gelorini et al., 2011): Revelles et al 2016b
