Type description

Bakker et al. 1982: Ovoid microfossil with hyaline perisporium, c. 28-39 x 16-23 micron, very dark brown. At one end a tuber cel with an inconspicuous pore of c. 1.5 micron in diameter, and at the opposite end another poroid area.
