Type description

van Geel 1978: Type 72A representing postabdomina of females, and Type 72B postabdomina of males.

van Geel et al (1983b): Type 72D: Eurycercus cf. lamellatus (O.F. Miiller) (Plate I, 72D.a--d) Postabdominal claw (72D.a and 72D.b), 105--268 pm long, with two rows of short hairs and two basal appendages, the proximal one 15--35 ~m, and the distal one 21--75 um long.
Fragments of postabdomina (72D.c and 72D.d), hyaline, 88-155 X 62--80 µm; dorsal margin ending in a characteristic row of wedge-shaped denticles, 7.5-20.0 µm long and 3.0-7.5 µm broad at the proximal side.
