Type description

van Geel et al 1981: Heterogeneous group of ellipsoidal fungal spores, 19--31 μm long, with strong pigmentation, and with a single pore ca. 1 μm in diameter. Sometimes somewhat rough on the inner side of the wall, especially the smaller ones.
