Type description

Van Geel et al. 1981: Globose microfossils, 15-20 μm in diameter inclusive of the 1-1.5 μm long protuberances arranged in an irregular, reticuloid pattern.

Van Geel et al. 1989: Moss spores, spheroidal, flattened, 14.5-25.0 μm in diameter. Wall densely beset with small processes, 0.5-1.0 μm in diameter.
