Type description

Van Geel et al. 1989: Spores flattened globose, ca. 52 μm in diameter, differing from other spores of the heterogeneous Zygnema type (HdV 314, Van Geel et al., 1981) in the relatively larger diameter of the pits: 8-9 μm.
