Type description

Pals et al. 1980: Fungal spores one-celled, ellipsoidal, (19.2)20.5-24.7(27.5) x 11.5-14.0(16.0) micron. Small pits, 0.8-1.0 micron in diameter present all over the surface, 0.5-2.5 micron apart. Obliquely truncate at the proximal end which is provided with a 0.8-1.0 micron wide, somewhat sunken pore (hilum?). Pore surrounded by an annulus. Distal end of the spore often narrowly rounded.
