Type description

van Geel 1978: Fruit-bodies (105.a), still attached to remains of cf. Andromeda polifolia, 68-110(-136) µm in diameter, with a somewhat protruding neck. Ascospores (105.b) ellipsoidal, non-septate, hyaline, 13-15 X 5-6 µm, found only during the macrofossil analysis, when the fruit-bodies were squashed. The fragile spores were not preserved during the processing and acetolysis.
