Type description

Prager et al 2012: Ovoid to pyriform, 1 septum (with pore), slightly constricted at septum, 13–19×6–9 μm, apical cell rounded and usually larger, basal cell conical, with protruding aperture (hilum), whole spore hyaline to pale brown, psilate, often dented.
