Type description

Conidiospores of Bactrodesmium xerophilum Borowska (1975), cylindrical, ellipsoidal or obovoid, slightly curved, rounded at the apex, with tapering basal cell, brown, 25-28 μm × 7 um, 2-septate, with a thick (4 μm) dark band at the upper septa.
