Type description

Gelorini et al 2011: Spores flask-shaped, unequally and asymmetrically 2-celled, pale brown to yellow, 20×15 μm, smooth, one cell dark, large (15 μm in diameter) and very thick-walled; other cell pale, small (5 μm in diameter) and thin-walled; large cell surrounded by hyaline sheath (present or not) with scabrate pattern.
