Gelorini et al 2011: Ascospores ellipsoid to subglobose, inequilaterally one-celled, dark brown, 37×25 μm, surface sculpture reticulate (ridges and hollows of about 1 μm), thick-walled; at least three germ pores visible, concentrated near both ends
