Type description

Gelorini et al 2011: Spores ellipsoid, subequally and subsymmetrically 2-celled, pale yellow, 32×15 μm, smooth, thick-walled, constricted at the septum, and with microreticulate hyaline sheath/coat, ornamented with circular and curving ridges, which are often hollow.
