Type description

Gelorini et al 2011: Ascospores globose to ellipsoid, equilaterally one-celled, brown, 17–24×13–17 μm, smooth, thick-walled, covered by a hyaline sheath (of which the slit may be a part); germ slit straight and running over the entire spore-length.
