Type description

Gelorini et al 2011: Ascospores slightly ellipsoid, inequilaterally one-celled, dark brown, 33–35×14–17 μm, smooth, thick-walled and with tapering ends; germ slit sigmoid and running over the entire spore-length near the less convex side (not always visible).
