Type description

Kuhry (1988): Plants unbranched. Leaves lanceolate, acuminate, unicostate, the costa percurrent (excurrent?) and broad, more than 1/3 width of the leaf base. Leaf cells smooth, upper leaf cells short rectangular to rhomboidal.
