Type description
Outer oocyte wall striate. Roughly "Bordeaux-wine-glass" shaped. Typical stalk - if present - in minimum 125 µm long, with articulation just beneath the main body, and adhesion plate on the opposite end. Same size range as Gyratrix hermaphroditus Ecotype I-A. With fine operculum suture.:Haas 1996
