Type description

Montoya et al. 2010: Ascospores one-septate 34.3–47 X 13.3–25.4 μm, constricted at the septum. Usually one cell larger than the other one. An outer, light-coloured wall showing an irregular pattern of longitudinal furrows and ridges up to ca. 2.7 μm high.
