Type description
van Geel 1978: Ascospores or conidia, (2-)4(-5) septate, slightly curved, piano-convex, 30-45 X 9-10 µm, with a distinctly protuberant, about 1.2 µm wide, appendage or hilum at the proximal end; proximal part usually subhyaline, distal part brown, separated by a constriction at one of the septa. Proximal part 0-1 septate, distal part 1-3 septate.
