Type description

van Geel 1978: Fruit-bodies 70-100 µm in diameter, darkly pigmented. Wall of covering membrane composed of radiating files of subquadratic cells 2-5 µm wide at the smooth margin, narrower at the centre. Ostiole surrounded by a ring of small cells with thick black walls, some of them bearing non-septate setae, up to 30 µm in length. Basal plate radially structured.
