Type description
van Geel 1978: Fruit-bodies 40-100 µm in diameter with a distinct, darker centre, margin smooth or slightly crenulate. Wall of the covering membrane made up of radiating files of subquadratic cells, 2-9 µm wide at the margin, and narrower at the centre. Ostiole 8-15 µm wide, surrounded by a ring of small cells with thick black walls. Basal plate radially structured.
