Type description

Bakker et al. 1982: Ovoid to globose microfossils, c. 20-27 micron long; cell wall thin, often ruptured, and covered with a striate-rugulate sculpturing in parallel ridges. Rupture sometimes "poroid', 5-8 micron broad.
