Type description

Bakker et al. 1982: Irregularly shaped to globose microfossils, 16-26 micron in diameter and somewhat elongated, often aggregated in small groups of 3-6 units. Surface reticuloid, meshes 1.5-4 micron in diameter, "muri" 0.3 micron long. The morphology suggests a possible relation to Type 38 (Van Geel, 1972).
