Type description

Bakker et al. 1982: Globose microfossil, (17)21-28 micron in diameter. Surface with reticulate sculpturing, meshes decreasing in size towards an area lacking the network and where an aperture of variable size and form can be discerned. Orbicular apertures are about 3 micron, and slit-shaped ones about 1 x 5 micron large.
