Type description

van Geel 1978: Hyaline, +/- isodiametric, 19-34 μm in diameter. Wall undulating to form 2-5 μm high protuberances. In Plate XIII, 66.c a rare halteriform specimen is illustrated. Within Type 66 microfossils probably two different taxa were taken together. The smaller specimens (19-21μm) have 8 or 12 protuberances, but the bigger ones (30-34 μm) regularly have 8 protuberances.
