Type description
Van Geel et al. 1981: Cylindrical fungal spores, 11 X 9-10 μm, with in the equatorial plane a characteristic septum with strong pigmentation, and provided with a central pore ca. 0.5 μm wide. Both ends of the spore hyaline.
