Type description
van Geel 1978: globose or oval structures with psilate wall, about 0.5 micron thick; greatest diameter 80-220 micron, fractured in a pentagonal or hexagonal pattern (greatest diameter 30-55 micron) often encountered in the microfossil-slides.
