Type description

Van Geel et al. 1981: Fungal remains, 3-4 septate, 25-28 X 11-13.5 μm. Apical cell rounded and mostly the biggest, followed by three or four cells gradually becoming smaller. The basal cell may have been connected with a mycelium.
