Type description
van Geel et al (1983b): Cylindrical microfossil, hyaline, 14.6-16.5 µm in diameter, exclusive of the 27-39 µm long hairy appendages; some specimens provided with a velum between the appendages. The cylindrical body consists of many fused rings. Type 307B is apparently related with Type 307 (A), distinguished by Van Geel et al. (1981), but Type 307B bears much larger hairs and shows a slightly smaller diameter of the cylinder.
