Type description

Van Geel et al. 1989: Globose microfossils, 20-23 μm in diameter inclusive of the ca. 20 appendages, evenly distributed over the surface. Appendages 2.2-4.1 μm high and 3-5 μm broad at the bases. Tetrads of HdV 233 microfossils have been observed (233.a).
