Type description

Van Geel et al. 1989: Globose, hyaline microfossils, 50-58 μm in diameter, exclusive of the up to 19.5 μm long anti 1(2) μm wide appendages that are slightly widened at the ends. Distance between appendages ca. 5 μm. Possibly cysts of marine Dinoflagellatae.
