Type description

Van Geel et al. 1989: Globose, hyaline microfossils, 58.0-69.5 μm in diameter, inclusive of the ca. 40 protuberances, each ca. 5 μm high and 5-9 μm in diameter at the truncated top. A 1.5 μm wide pore in the centre of the flat part of the protuberances. Distance between protuberances 4-10 μm Wall ca. 0.3 μm thick.
