Type description

Van Geel et al. 1989: Globose, hyaline microfossils, 19.5-26.0 μm in diameter, wall ca. 0.2 μm thick forming 0.8-1.8 μm protuberances, 1.0-1.3 μm in diameter at the truncated top. Distance between the protuberances 1.0-2.5 (4.0) μm.
