Type description
van Geel 1978: Ascospores fusiform, 23-30 x 5-6(7) μm; (2)3-4(7) septate, end cells lighter and thinnerwalled, often damaged. The number of septa varying within the same fruit-body. Fruit-bodies ovoid, 165-190 μm in diameter, connected with septate, about 2 μm wide hyphae. Many thick-walled, dark, septate, 2-5 μm thick setae present near the ostiole.
