Type description

van Geel et al (1983b): Ellipsoid microfossil, 77.6-135.8 × 58.1-96.1 µm, exclusive of the 2.9-12.6 µm long spiny processes on the surface 3-12 µm apart from one another. One apex of the microfossil flattened, forming a zone of 22-28 µm in diameter without spines.
