Type description

van Geel et al (1983b): Ascospores ellipsoid, 14.5-19.9 X 11.6-14.6 (-15.7) µm, one-celled, bilaterally flattened, the two flattened sides dark brown and a light brown zone encircling the spore. Germ slit along the narrow side in the light brown zone.
