Type description

van der Wiel (1982): Zygospores square, 36-45 (40) × 32-41 (36) µm, laterally straight. Small pits, about 1 µm in diameter, 3 µm apart are present all over the hyaline surface of the zygospore wall. One to three angles usually retuse.
