Type description

Van Geel et al 2011: Ascospores sub-fusiform, 28–43×12–15 μm with one flattened side with long furrow. Gelorini et al 2011: Ascospores ellipsoid to subfusiform, inequilaterally one-celled, yellowish brown, 37–40×13–16 μm, smooth, thick-walled and with tapering ends; germ slit nearly straight and running over the entire spore-length near the flattened side.
