Type description

Van Geel et al 2011: Ascospores uniseptate, ellipsoidal, ca. 27×14 μm, with 3–4 longitudinal grooves in surface view (Müller and von Arx, 1962).
Gelorini et al 2011: Conidia ellipsoid, subequally and subsymmetrically 2-celled, reddish brown, 27×14 μm, slightly thick-walled, not constricted at the septum, with longitudinal ridges (3–4 on surface view). It is not always clear that it concerns conidia because the point of attachment can be indistinct due to unfavourable orientation.
