Type description

Prager et al 2012: Hemispherical to bowl-shaped, ø 5–9 μm, 3–5 μm high, wall 1 μm thick, inward folded part (septum?) thinner, bright brown, psilate.
EMA-31 was thus divided in EMA-31 A (=former EMA-31) and B (smaller form). Recorded in peat cores (EMA-31A and B counted as one in: Barthelmes et al. 2012)
